SRAM does it again. Featherweight and exotic components for
pro level road cyclists. SRAM FORCE makes no compromise, it is
built for racing. Design, high-end materials and lightweight characterize this top of the line SRAM groupset. SRAM
FORCE includes seven components featuring key technologies such as DoubleTap®, Exact Actuation™ and OpenGlide™. Its overall weight of 2104g makes it
one of the lightest groupsets on the market. Key facts: 7
components: Shifters, Rear Derailleur, Front Derailleur, Crankset, Brakeset,
Chain, Cassette Material:
Carbon, Titanium, Magnesium, and Aluminium Total weight: 2104g
SRAM FORCE shifter: Developed for Road Racing. One lever, one direction for up- and
downshifting SRAM, the shifting experts, have taken
Road shifting to the next level. Today’s world is all about saving. By
reducing the number of parts in a single shifter we have achieved a 25%
weight reduction compared to the competition. The shifter is made of 41
pieces of which 29 belong to the DoubleTap® shifting mechanism. The SRAM FORCE
shifters weigh only 303g. SRAM FORCE shifters feature the all new
DoubleTap® technology,
where one lever is used for both shifting
directions. The single lever design makes shifting simple and intuitive without
interfering with braking. A short tap of the lever results in a heavier gear
change (from bigger to smaller cogs). To shift to a lighter gear, you just tap the
same lever slightly further. With the longer tap, you can downshift up to 3
gears at the same time. While sprinting with your hands in the droops, the shift
lever can be pulled against the handlebar enabling you to upshift quickly
and focus on the fi nish line. As we all know, hands hold a big
responsibility. They have to control the handlebar, while shifting and braking.
Insuffi cient ergonomics often result into tired arms and fi ngers. That is why
SRAM engineers gave ergonomics a high priority. SRAM FORCE shifters were
designed around the motion and anatomy of the human hands, to avoid
fatigue. Individually designed shifters for the right and left hand
provide more comfortable positions, increased control and safer braking. It fi ts
better, it feels better. Key facts: DoubleTap®: One lever, one direction for up- and

SRAM FORCE crankset: The perfect power transfer. Precision and stiffness in an elegant
carbon set. The new SRAM FORCE crankset features
carbon developed in our own factory. It possesses key mechanical
properties which enable us to enhance power transfer and decrease
energy loss. In addition, the chainrings are engineered and surface
treated creating a solid and precise tooth profi le. To complete the set, SRAM FORCE cranks
are associated to the GXP bottom bracket. This external bearing
system captures the left side bearing between the spindle and the left
crankarm while allowing the drive-side bearing to fl oat axially
on the spindle. It eliminates the necessity to side-load bearings during
adjustment and uses specifi c cartridge bearings and eight seals for a
smooth and long lasting ride. The SRAM Force crankset will be available
as a standard (53x39) and compact (50x34 – 50x36) version to face
all your demands and racing courses. In addition, crank arms will
come in 170 / 172,5 / 175 / 177,5 mm. Finaly, the SRAM FORCE crank
arms are also compatible with other manufacturers’ chainring
sizes (change may result in loss of performance). Key facts: Carbon
